BRIEF
Last Call, “a film about friendship and goodbyes,“ deals with ones smallness in the world. It shows that, when a person dies, they will most often fade into the landscape, and that the company they kept is really what made life worth living. Develop a branding package that embodies this message.
SOLUTION
In this branding package I have embraced the motifs of insignificance and purpose. In the poster, Bruce and Chuck walk into the distance toward a dilapidated and indistinguishable building that overwhelms them in size. Though they are not touching, or even looking at one another, their similar stances hint at some sameness or relationship. The typeface employed is Helvetica, often referred to as the most banal and overused face in the world. Even the title and the actors’ names are fading into the building.
